There are many barriers to the development of music, arts, language skills and creativity among the Palestinian people. Creating a center is a way to serve the Palestinian people at large in the following villages: AI-AZARIA-Bethany, ABU DEES and AL SAWAHRAH.

The presence of countless military checkpoints, by-pass roads, and separation of towns and villages in the West Bank and the erection of the Apartheid segregation wall restricts mobility. Higher education institutions, universities, technical schools, language learning centers, music academics and other human development centers were cut off and became non-existent in many areas. All this combined was for the thrusting force behind the creation of Vision Culture for Culture and Arts.

In addition the lack of organizations-NGOs, music and art institutions, and qualified people- musicians and artists- in those three villages challenged the Vosgueritchian brothers to establish the mission.

The Vision Center for Culture and Arts is located in Ras-Koubsa adjacent to the main business center in Al-Azariah, (Bethany). Al-Azariah has more than 20,000 residents. The total number for the three villages in nearly 70,000.

The Vision Center for Culture and Arts decided to embark on a mission that could ensure that this service of benefiting our community becomes a reality, particularly at this fragile juncture of our village's history; music being among the most endangered art form due to the incoming style and performance. English language, being the dominant international language must not be disregarded and ignored by many. Our community could become more of a burden and a liability than a competent, reliable and independent one.

Most of our town’s residents cannot afford the luxury of owning a musical instrument or buying a computer set because of the difficult economic situation and the erection of the humiliating Segregation Wall.

The Wall” remains the cause for anguish and stress. This Wall severs Jerusalem from the Holy town of Al-AZARIA, restricting youth from entering Jerusalem, thereby preventing youth group from achieving their shared dream, namely self-improvement and enrichment to their lives with higher education and with time allotted to constructive activities such as gainful employment which secures  dignified living conditions for self and family.
